Darklord, in conjunction with Blasphemous Underground, are releasing both "Symphony Satanikka" and "By the Force of Sacred Magic Rites" on LP. The albums will be limited to 500 copies each, as a once off release. We'll give you more information once the records are available for purchase, which will be within the next few months.

New website 21st June, 2006
The Darklord website has been moved to a new web host, and we've done a complete overhaul of the inner workings (php, sql, etc) of the site. We now have a forum up too. The new hosting means we can provide more mp3s and some live videos. You can also look forward to many more christian-crushing features that are coming in the future.
Darklord concentrating on new material and another gig 21st September, 2005
Yes... We are hard at work writing new material! At a recent gig we had the chance to showcase one of the songs and it went down well and I must say hails to the heathens that arrived! The howling at the start of the show was something to remember! We will be playing at the Crown and Anchor on Sunday November the 6th. The gig is all ages so we hope a lot of people can come down. Hopefully by the gig we will also have shirts and promo copies of the CD for sale.
Darklord to play live in Perth 30th March, 2005
Thanks to the legend Dysie from Pathogen, Darklord will venture to the shores of Perth and play at the White Sands Hotel on June 18th. This will be a new frontier to conquer as not many bands have bothered to even attempt the long trek to Perth. We hope we can put on a large show and satisfy the metal thirst; I'm sure the Perth scene has being starved of so much decent metal. Line up TBA.
Also wish to say hails to United Metal Productions for the thoroughly awesome job yet again in organising the Alcoholocaust 2 show last October. To play to such a large audience was an awesome experience and the whole night was just beyond words. Hails Andy! We also have CDs available again for 10 bucks, although they do not have covers, they are promotional copies of the album. Available from the online shop.

Darklord live in Melbourne 16th March, 2004
Thanks to the Melbourne unholy who attended the gig at The Esplanade Hotel, St Kilda on March 13th. It turned out to be one of the heaviest Darklord gigs ever. We were unsure how the Melbournians would respond but found the crowd to be more than accepting. Many hails to Andy the organiser (awesome job) and to the mixer, Ben, who put in 666% effort. And heathen hails to Justin who drove over from Adelaide. Melbourne will not have to wait another ten years before Darklords return!
Darklord to play live in Melbourne at The Espy 20th January, 2004
Darklord are coming to destroy the Espy Hotel, St. Kilda on the 13th March. Also on the bill is Portal (Qld), Gospel of the Horns (Vic), Notherealm (Vic), and Implicate Order (Vic).
Darklord live at Enigma Bar 7th October, 2003
Many darkened hails to all who came to the gig on Sunday October 5th at the Enigma Bar! You are the ones who made it a killer night. There were crazed, bloodthirsty metalheads from all over the country there, so mighty hails to all of you who came from afar. We noticed a lot of people were taking photos. If you took any, email them to us and we might put them up on the pics page.
Darklord live again at last! 6th September, 2003
Yes, the rumours true, at last, after a very lengthy hiatus from live rituals, Darklord wll be returning to the stage for 3D Radio's Metalsurge 4 at The Enigma Bar, Hindley St, Adelaide, on Oct 5th, 2003.
Many other metal bands will be playing and tickets are very cheap... A night of satanikk metal carnage is assured... Fellow Australian black metallers Astriaal (Qld) will also be playing, so there is no excuse for you not to be there.

First rehearsal with keyboard player 5th April, 2003
Today Darklord had their first rehearsal with keyboard player Chaoslord. Things went very well. Stormbringer was unable to attend, so it will be a week before the band rehearses as a full 5 piece. Darklord have never had a keyboard player before and previously used a sequencer for live keyboards.
A keyboard player for Darklord? 15th March, 2003
For the first time ever, Darklord might be recruiting a keyboard player as a permanent member of the horde. Until now, Darklord have always used a sequencer to play keyboard sections when playing live, which Nekromancer would trigger with a footswitch, but tempo is always a problem when doing this, especially when the drummer isn't playing to a click track (pretty hard with Darklord's style of music). Nothing is definite yet but it looks promising and more news will be posted very soon.
In other Darklord news, the band has been confirmed to perform a live ritual at 3D Radio's Metalsurge 4 at LeRox, Adelaide on October 5th 2003.
Live rituals slowly drawing closer 28th December, 2002
Many have emailed asking what is taking so long for the new line up to play live. Well, unfortunately Darklord are only able to rehearse for a short time once a week, on a Saturday - and Saturday is always a hard day to get everyone to be at rehearsal because of varying commitments.
Darklord reject record deal offers 1st September, 2002
Darklord finally decided to reject the label offers which were made to them. Said Stormbringer, "After studying the contracts and weighing up all options we felt that there was no major advantage in signing the deals that were offered. In fact we saw more disadvantages than advantages. Perhaps if it were a super major label it would be a different story - but labels like that don't seem to be interested in extreme, anti-christan, satanic, metal bands."
Stormbringer on 3D Radio 10th June, 2002
Stormbringer (guitar / vox) will be appearing on 3D Radio's Powersurge metal program this month (23rd June). For Adelaide listeners only, you'll find it at 93.7 on your FM dial.
First rehearsal with new members 8th June, 2002
Today Darklord had their first rehearsal with a new drummer Hellaeon and new bass player Doomsayer. Time will tell just how permanent this lineup will be, but the rehearsal itself went very well. Better than expected. The next Darklord album will almost certainly feature these 2 new members and live shows are also 99% certain. More on this soon...
Bassist and drummer found? 12th May, 2002
After another long stint without a full line up, Darklord may have found 2 new members (drums and bass) to complete the horde once again. Both these people are involved in other bands and so their joining the band may only be temporary, but then again it may not be! Time will tell. There have been only minor talks so far but things look promising.
Darklord offered several record deals 1st January, 2002
Since the self release of Symphony Satanikka in September last year, Darklord have been approached by several record labels,
including a few in the US. The most serious offer so far has been made by the
well established Australian label Modern Invasion
Music. They have offered the band a 3 album deal and we are currently
checking out the contract and weighing up our options, however Darklord are reluctant to sign to anyone at the moment for
several reasons. More news on this shortly.
Distribution for Symphony Satanikka 1st September, 2001
Darklord's debut full length album Symphony Satanikka is now being
distributed worldwide thanks to Australian label Modern Invasion who have always
supported us since the days of our old demo around '93, '94. Many hailz to Daniel and all his staff for their continued support over the years.
